Can’t see outputs on the serial monitor, can send inputs though.

I've been trying to use a HC-06 for my project and i can succesfully send data through bluetooth connection, however, i can't see anything on the serial monitor as i type, send, or recieve data:

Wiring is as the following:

Ignore the buzzer, wired the HC-06 like this: RX to TX and vice versa. 5V and GND is on point too.

Any kind of help would be appreciated.
