How would I figure out how strong of a motor I need to SPIN/ROTATE about 40 lbs of material on its axis?

I built a doohicky that is suppose to spin 40 pounds of hardware on top of a lazy susan, but the motor I have is only rated for 25g. I have a gear system that is a 5:1 ratio so it ends up being about 0.27 lbs of torque.

Assuming low friction, do you think this will be enough? I know the amount of force needed to spin this thing is NOT 40lbs, but I dont know how to figure out how much force I do need.
